Dean Lin Bohai and Doctoral Students of the School Were Invited to Participate in the 27th Council for European Studies Annual Conference

On June 21-25, 2021, Eastern daylight saving time, the 27th CES (Council for European Studies) Annual Conference was hosted by the Institute of European Studies and undertaken by the University of Iceland. The theme of the conference was Europe’s Past, Present and Future: Utopia and Dystopia. Affected by the pandemic, the annual conference is carried out online. The conference lasted for five days and included two keynote forums, the Future of Europe and the Future of Populism, multiple conferences themed on network research, round table forums, meetings of publishers and editors, exchange meetings for young scholars, and 353 report discussion groups. Nearly a thousand scholars from all over the world participated in the academic feast. The paper China’s Critical Approaches to the Spread of European Populism, which was co-authored by Professor Lin Bohai and doctoral student Fan Lili in our School, was selected.. Professor Lin Bohai and doctoral student Fan Lili delivered a special report in the forum Politics and Regulation in the European Union’s Neighborhood on the morning of June 22 local time.
